We are looking for a highly motivated HR Business Partner to support our international business.

Who are we:

Business Sweden is jointly owned by the Swedish state and the Swedish private business sector with a mandate and a mission to help international companies gain access to the Swedish market, whilst helping domestic ones to utilize it as a platform for expansion. Our clients range from start-ups, small- and medium sized businesses to multinational enterprises – with tailor-made services catering to all of these segments.

We have a holistic approach, offering both hands-on support, strategic and practical expertise and a unique capability to create access where access is hard to get, both in Sweden and through our offices across Europe, Americas, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific. We are currently based in 39 markets from San Fransisco to Sydney, with 450 dedicated employees.

The role:

As a HR Business Partner at Business Sweden, you will have a broad HR responsibility of supporting country managers around our global organisation. Working closely as a member of your regions’ management team, you will be responsible for the HR- and people agendas in your region, whilst also executing on the HR yearly cycle, in close collaboration with the regional business. Your responsibilities will be to support, develop and coach managers in these respective HR areas.

You will work across all HR areas, both strategically and operatively, with key aspects such as recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, organisational changes and exit processes.

Each of our HR Business Partners is also repsonbile for a specialist, key business area, a cross-functional organisation process. In this role, we are looking for you to take the lead in facilitating the development and execution of Business Swedens learning and development agenda. By working together with our organisation leaders, managers and HR team, you will strategically identify and implement a sound and effective learning and development structure, across our organisation.

Our HR Business Partners are part of our HR-team, based at our head offices in Stockholm, whilst reporting to our VP of Human Recourses.

Your profile:

Being a successful employee at Business Sweden you have the drive to develop yourself, your colleagues and your business. You are curious and interested in developing business through your HRBP profession. You contribute to strategic discussions and understand how to incorporate it into your day-to-day agenda. You are confident in your communication and collaboration whilst also being flexible.

As a HR professional you have solid self-confidence and the drive to contribute to your HR colleagues while remaining humble and eager to learn new things.

  • A minimum of 5 years within a similar HR BP role
  • An academic degree in Human Resource Management, Behavioral Sciences or equivalent
  • Experience of a consultative approach with strategic matters
  • Experience of working in an international HRBP role
  • Experience of implementing a Learning & Development strategy is merited
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
