Head of Sales & Marketing to Vogue Scandinavia

We are looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing who will drive the strategic and operational marketing and leads generation for Vogue Scandinavia. Vogue Scandinavia was launched in August 2021, and this is a unique opportunity to participate in the aim of successfully establishing and developing Vogue Scandinavia in the Nordic region as well as internationally.

About the role

We are looking for a creative and results-oriented person who will be responsible for Sales & Marketing at Vogue Scandinavia, both for the digital offer and the printed magazine which is published six times a year. The role involves responsibility for all sales-driving activities, such as digital campaigns, e-commerce, and marketing via social media, as well as general marketing of Vogue Scandinavia’s customer offering.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be part of the management team and lead the marketing department which is made up of four people with responsibility for Performance marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and Customer Success
  • Develop and work practically with different marketing and activity plans
  • Be responsible for marketing and sales budget
  • Handle questions about media mix / media buying and potential agency collaborations
  • Drive both B2B and B2C sales of Vogue Scandinavia’s digital subscription offer and printed magazines
  • Conduct brand awareness and work with segmentation and target group analyzes
  • Continuously evaluate various campaigns and projects through KPIs and ROI

The successful candidate

We are looking for a person with a high energy level who is creative, able to think outside the box, and not afraid to face unexpected challenges.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you have about 10 years of experience in a similar role. You have a proven track record in sales-driven marketing and digital campaigns. You have successfully developed, planned, and implemented integrated marketing campaigns to support lead generation and win new business. You are used to utilizing all digital channels including website, social media and marketing automation tools. You can create plans that activate the recipient throughout the journey from brand awareness to conversion. You have academic qualifications, your business English is excellent and you have experience from working in an international environment.

The role places high demands on experience in strategic marketing and project management, with a very good ability to run different projects simultaneously, also operationally. Experience from PR and event management is advantageous. Experience from the fashion industry is not a requirement but a merit.
