PROJECT LEAD // MAKE IMPACT WHERE IT MATTERS

Are you an experienced Project Lead who enjoys driving complex engineering projects from idea to implementation? Do you thrive in a manufacturing environment where no two days are the same, and where your work has a direct impact on business performance?

We’re looking for a Project Lead for an exciting 12-month consulting assignment with a leading international company within the manufacturing. You’ll join a highly automated production site known for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

This is a role for someone who wants to make a real difference. You’ll lead strategic factory investment projects that shape the future of the production site, working closely with engineering, operations, suppliers, contractors, and global stakeholders. From machinery installations and utilities to infrastructure upgrades and compliance initiatives, you’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and with long-term sustainability in mind.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate factory investment and engineering projects from initiation through successful implementation.

  • Manage CapEx projects, including investment proposals and BAP/MEMO preparation.

  • Define project scope, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies while ensuring successful project delivery.

  • Develop sustainable engineering solutions aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.

  • Collaborate with local and global stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and external authorities throughout project execution.

  • Ensure full compliance with local legislation, engineering standards, and internal corporate requirements.

  • Champion Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across all projects.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize factory performance, increase operational efficiency, and improve ways of working.

  • Support additional strategic initiatives and business-critical projects as required.


YOUR PROFILE // YOU BRING THE EDGE

You’re an experienced project professional who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships, and turning complex challenges into successful deliveries. You combine technical expertise with excellent planning skills and know how to keep projects moving forward while engaging everyone around you.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or another relevant technical discipline.

  • 3–5 years of experience leading engineering or investment projects within manufacturing, industrial production, or site operations.

  • Experience working with production machinery, factory infrastructure, buildings, utilities, and CE certifications.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.

  • Experience working with project management software, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.

  • Working knowledge of CAD.

  • Experience using SAP and purchasing management systems.

  • Good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to industrial project management.
