Do you want to work for a global technology leader where data plays a key role in shaping future business decisions? At ZEISS Nordics, we are now looking for a Technical Data Analyst with a passion for data quality, modern data platforms, and analytics tools.
About the job
As a Technical Data Analyst at ZEISS Nordics, you will be an important link between business and technology. You will help the organization become more data-driven by ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, and structured in a way that supports both strategic and operational decisions.
You will work in a collaborative environment, partnering with leaders, IT specialists, and colleagues across the Nordics as well as globally. Together, you will develop solutions that improve data flows, enhance quality, and create a solid foundation for analytics, reporting, and automation.
Your work will involve:
- Designing and maintaining data models and integrations in an Azure environment
- Improving data quality, governance, and metadata management
- Supporting the business in turning raw data into actionable insights
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions that add value
This is a role for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and engaging with people to understand their requirements.
The Role
To thrive in this position, you likely have a relevant academic degree and at least three years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field. You are comfortable working with Python, SQL, or DAX and have experience with visualization tools like Power BI. You understand data warehousing and lakehouse concepts—preferably within Azure—and are familiar with data quality and governance principles.
