Are you a senior HR leader who wants to build something from the ground up in a truly global context?
This is a unique opportunity to step into a role where you will shape the people agenda in a company that is simultaneously growing its business and establishing its internal structure.
Oticon Medical is in the early phase of a major carve out and transformation journey. As Global Chief People Officer, you will play a key role in building the HR function, establishing ways of working and ensuring the organization is equipped to scale across markets and geographies.
About Oticon Medical
Oticon Medical is a global medtech company within bone anchored hearing solutions BAHS, dedicated to improving the lives of people with hearing loss. The company has around 300 employees globally and a commercial presence across 25 plus markets.
Following the carve out from its previous parent company, Oticon Medical is now in the starting phase of establishing itself as an independent organization. This includes building new structures, systems and ways of working, as well as establishing its new headquarters in Gothenburg Sisjön.
At the same time, the company continues to grow and take market share.
The culture is characterized by high engagement, strong collaboration and a genuine sense of purpose, combined with the reality of building structures while scaling the business.
About the role
As Global Chief People Officer, you will take ownership of building and establishing the global HR function from the ground up.
You will work closely with the CEO and be part of the global leadership team, contributing both strategically and operationally to the development of the business.
This is a role where you will define the direction while also being actively involved in execution. The setup is lean, and success in the role requires a hands on approach and the ability to build, establish and get things done in a changing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team on organizational development, people, talent and culture
-
Leading the HR carve out, including employee transitions, processes and policies across multiple countries
-
Supporting the establishment of legal entities and employee structures globally
-

-
Establishing scalable HR processes across the full employee lifecycle
-

-

-
Building and developing a small global HR setup over time with selective hires and external partners
-
Managing and coordinating external HR partners such as payroll and local HR support
-
Ensuring alignment between global standards and local requirements
You will step into a context where much is not yet fully defined, and where your ability to build structure, create clarity and establish direction will be critical.

You are a senior HR leader with experience from international environments and a strong ability to operate in change.
