About the role
Ahlsell is now looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join its e‑commerce team. This is a dedicated mobile role with clear ownership of Ahlsell’s iOS and Android applications, which are a key part of the company’s digital customer experience.
You will work hands‑on with the development, maintenance and evolution of Ahlsell’s mobile apps, used by our customers as well as supporting colleagues with backend development. The role is part of Ahlsell Group’s broader e‑commerce journey, where scalable, stable and future‑proof solutions are critical—primarily within B2B.
The team is small and still evolving, which means you will have significant influence over technical decisions, tooling and ways of working. This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to help shape how mobile development is done within the organization.
Your profile
We are looking for a senior Mobile Developer who is comfortable taking ownership and making technical decisions in a changing environment. As a person, you are self‑driven, adaptable and comfortable with change. You take initiative, identify what needs to be done and move things forward without waiting for detailed instructions. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills and enjoy working in an environment where not everything is predefined. A genuine interest in the business and a willingness to contribute to the bigger picture are essential for succeeding in this role.
Required

Strong experience in mobile development for iOS and Android

Proven experience building native apps and/or React Native applications

Experience publishing and managing apps in the App Store and Google Play Store

Strong knowledge of TypeScript (5.9, strict mode)
