ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Developer at Monitum, you’ll be a key contributor in a development team of 8 developers and part of a company of 24 colleagues in total. You’ll report to the Head of Development and work close to both product and business. Your main focus will be to build and ship new, high-impact functionality that drives customer value and supports the company’s growth in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
You will work across the full-stack and take shared ownership of the service layer, ensuring it remains secure, scalable, and sustainable as the product and organization grow. The role combines hands-on development with a strong focus on quality, security, and long-term maintainability.
Your responsibilities include:
• Developing and launching new features across the full-stack (TypeScript, React, NestJS)
• Writing clean, maintainable code using TDD and robust automated testing
• Identifying and mitigating security risks in both application and infrastructure
• Collaborating closely with the team to continuously improve development workflows, tools, and architecture using technologies such as NX and Kubernetes
YOUR PROFILE
You are a growth-oriented and self-driven developer who takes responsibility for the whole product, not just isolated pieces of code. You value collaboration highly and approach your work with a strong sense accountability. Being humble comes naturally to you — you enjoy helping others and believe that the best results are achieved when the team succeeds together.
You have:
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript
• Strong backend experience with NestJS (or deep expertise in IOC containers and dependency injection)
• Professional experience with React
• A strong understanding of automated testing (integration and acceptance) and a TDD-first mindset
• A business-centric approach to development, understanding how technical decisions impact MRR and customer retention
• Fluency in English
Bonus points for:
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) and Helm
• Experience working with monorepos and the NX build system
• Proficiency in Swedish
