Nordax Bank is a specialist bank, an alternative to the more traditional banks on the market. Nordax is expanding and looking for a driven and creative graphic designer, a brave, curious and talented UX & UI Designer. In this role you work in the area between marketing and IT, within system and user experience, with what is totally out of the box and what is doable. The role: UX & UI Designer
As a UX & UI Designer you are operational responsible from a user perspective for the graphical interfaces, user frameworks and functionality of all our digital surfaces online. In this role, you will create a basis for our developers and IT department; sketches, new icons and layouts, review functionality on our website. You create the framework for our web pages and visualise our identify. You challenge status quo, you improve, question, change and develop in terms of creating a smooth user experience when in contact with Nordax. You work in close collaboration with the brand manager/owner, IT and our UX & Conversion manager. You will work as part of the Customer Acquisition team within the IT department, with close connection with marketing. Your workplace is at our head office at St Eriksplan and you report to the Head of Development.
Examples of responsibilities and duties:
- Create a user-friendly experience according to Nordax’s identity
- Optimize and collaborate in various development projects with IT teams and Marketing
- Create icons, illustrations or other change in functionality that requires design and technical skills
- Creates user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models and screen designs/prototypes
- Follows graphic identity guidelines when designing user interfaces and graphical layouts
- Conduct and create user tests, follow up with drawing/prototype work and measure outcome
- Considers all aspects of the user experience for Nordax all digital channels / surfaces, including systems, text, graphics and image
Your experience
- Education in IT design, software design, and / or UX design / interface
- Experience of working as an UX/UI designer
- Experience in structuring user flows, producing wireframes / frameworks and prototypes
- Experience requirements, mastering Sketch, Photoshop or similar
- Clear understanding of user research methods to validate the customer needs.
- Clear understanding of user needs in correlation with corporate business goals
- Understanding of the principles behind A / B testing
- Fluent or work proficiency in English
- Merit with additional languages such as Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish or German
- Merit if you have worked with Invision
